On January 17, 2026, the “One Heart, One World” charity event, initiated by Ms. Hong Xiaoqing, General Manager of Shanghai Jiuzhou Chemical Co., Ltd., was successfully held at CEIBS. Themed “Volunteer Spirit, Journey Together,” the event aimed to honor the selfless dedication of volunteers and promote the spirit of social mutual aid.
Attendees included compassionate alumni from various industries, foundations, chambers of commerce, associations, and other charitable organizations, as well as volunteers and community members. Together, they celebrated the milestones of kindness and pledged to continue spreading love and hope.
Since its establishment under the leadership of Ms. Hong Xiaoqing, the “One Heart, One World” charity has been committed to its mission of “filling children’s world with love,” focusing on the physical and mental well-being of children and adolescents. To date, the initiative has supported 54 children undergoing treatment for retinoblastoma at Xinhua Hospital and provided supplies to 27 schools. It also extends care to special needs children, including those with autism and visual impairments, ensuring that sunshine and understanding reach every young life.
The event concluded with the uplifting slogan, “A Little Love Lights Up a Big World,” marking both a warm reflection on five years of charitable journey and the beginning of a new chapter.
