Natural Gas Dehydration
The presence of water will significantly enhance the dew point of natural gas, make gas inevitable icing in liquefaction, pipeline transportation or deep cold separation; also form hydrocarbon hydrate to precipitate and block equipment and pipeline; it is easier to act with H2S and CO2 in natural gas and seriously corrode pipeline equipment. Deep dehydration and drying of natural gas with molecular sieve is the most widely used and mature method.
H2S and CO2 in natural gas will act with water and seriously corrode pipeline equipment; acid natural gas with content exceeding national standards must be used normally through purification and desulfurization. Molecular sieve has been widely used in removing impurities such as H2S, CO2 in the gas.

Alcohol Dehydration
Under constant pressure, when the alcohol-water mixture reaches 95.57% (w/w), the volume fraction reaches 97.2% (v/v), a coboiling mixture is formed at that concentration, without alcohol with purity over 97.2% (v/v) using a ordinary distillation method.
To further produce high-purity anhydrous alcohol, adopt variable pressure adsorption (PSA) molecular sieve, with 99.5% concentration to 99.98% (v/v) after dehydration and condensation. Compared with the traditional ternary azeotropic distillation method, with good dehydration effect, high product quality, advanced technology and low energy consumption.
Ethanol dehydration molecular sieve adsorption method is a technique for absorb water of feed ethanol. Using a molecular sieve of JZ-ZAC, the water molecule is 3A, and the 2.8A, ethanol molecule is 4.4A. Because ethanol molecules are larger than water molecules, water molecules can be adsorbed in the hole, ethanol molecules can not adsorb are excluded. When the water-containing ethanol adsorbed neatly through the molecular sieve, the molecular sieve adsorbs the water parts, while the ethanol vapor passes the adsorption bed and becomes a pure ethanol product.

Removal Of Hydrogen Sulfide And Mercaptan
In addition to hydrogen sulfide, the petroleum cracking gas usually contains a certain amount of organic sulfur. The key to reducing the sulfur content is the effective removal of sulfur alcohol and hydrogen sulfide from the raw gas. Molecular sieve can be used to adsorb some sulfur-containing compounds. The adsorption principle mainly includes two aspects:
1- shape selection and adsorption. There are many uniform aperture channels in the molecular sieve structure, which not only provide a large inner surface area, but also limit the proportion of molecules with large aperture entry.
2- polar adsorption, due to the characteristics of the ion lattice, the molecular sieve surface is high polarity, thus has a high adsorption capacity for unsaturated molecules, polar molecules and easily polarized molecules. Molecular sieve is mainly used to remove thiol from natural gas. Due to the weak polarity of COS, similar to the molecular structure of CO2, there is a competition between the adsorption on the molecular sieve in the presence of CO2. To simplify the process and reduce equipment investment, molecular sieve adsorption sulfate is usually used in conjunction with molecular sieve dehydration.

The aperture of JZ-ZMS3,JZ-ZMS4,JZ-ZMS5 and JZ-ZMS9 molecular sieve are 0.3nm,0.4nm,0.5nm and 1.0nm., respectively It was found that JZ-ZMS3 molecular sieve hardly absorbs thiol, JZ-ZMS4 molecular sieve absorbs small capacity and JZ-ZMS9 molecular sieve absorbs thiol strongly. The results show that the adsorption capacity and adsorption properties increase as the aperture increases.
