A brief understanding of what are the important indicators of adsorbents (above)

Water adsorption analysis

Water adsorption can be divided into static water adsorption and dynamic water adsorption.Static water adsorption, means that under the condition of a certain temperature and humidity environment, after reaching dynamic equilibrium, the adsorbed water content of the adsorbent, that in the machine performance is the case of constant working conditions, the static water adsorption data is more higher, the dew point of the export gas performance will be better.

Dynamic water adsorption refers to the adsorption amount of adsorbent adsorbed water in the airflow to the bed penetration, that is, when adsorbing water in the airflow, the weight added after reaching the specified dew point. Because of the different working conditions and models, the dew point is also different .But the same as static water adsorption, the both of water adsorption is more higher, the better the adsorption performance of the product.

Analysis of surface area

The surface area per unit mass of material, which is related to the adsorption performance.  The larger the specific surface area, the larger the theoretical contact surface with the airflow, so that the adsorption speed is faster and the adsorption is stronger

In the application of air dryer, the surface area of the adsorbent is more higher,, the larger the contact surface with the airflow and the lower the dew point. Generally speaking, for every 100m2/g increase in specific surface area, the adsorption rate increases by 5-10% in RH60% relative environment.

Pore  volume  analysis

If you look under a microscope, you will find that activated alumina has many micro-pores, which is one of the important characteristic values of a porous structured adsorbent or catalyst. The volume of micro-pore in the adsorbent is called pore capacity, which is the value derived from the saturation adsorption volume, that is, how much volume of adsorbent can hold the adsorbent, so the larger the pore capacity, the better. The pore volume requirement for activated alumina is greater than or equal to 0. 35 cm³/g in the line standard.
