Water accumulation of the dryer in summer

Both the temperature and the air humidity are very high in summer. The carbon steel pipes and air tanks of the dryer are easy to get rusty. And the rust is easy to block the drainage elements. Blocked outlet will cause poor drainage.

If the water in the air tank exceeds the air outlet position, it will cause water to enter the dryer. The adsorbent will be moistened and powdered, resulting in the spraying “mud”. And the equipment will not be able to operate normally.

For a 50 standard cubic meter air-cooled compressor, if the exhaust pressure is 0.5MPa and the temperature is 55 ℃, when the air goes into the storage tank, and the temperature of compressed air such as storage tank and pipe heat dissipation drops to 45 ℃, 24kg of liquid water will be generated in the air storage tank every hour, total 576kg per day. Therefore, if the drainage system of the storage tank fails, a large amount of water will be accumulated in the storage tank.

Clean up the accumulated water in time. If the adsorbent has been powdered due to moisture, replace the adsorbent in time.

All the atmospheric air contains a certain amount of water vapor. Now, imagine the atmosphere as a huge, slightly moist sponge. If we squeeze the sponge very hard, the absorbed water drops out. The same happens when the air is compressed, which means the concentration of water increases and these water vapor condenses into liquid water. To avoid problems with the compressed air system, using the post cooler and drying equipment is required.
